Mother’s Day is right around the corner, but if you’re like me, gifts are so last minute that quick and easy is the only way to go. No worries, I’ve done a little search on my own Pinterest All things crochet board and picked out some quick, beginner friendly and beautiful Mother’s Day crochet gift ideas. With the weather getting nicer, I made sure to pick items that would fit the season.
- I know we all love receiving flowers but I get a little sad because I know they won’t live very long. These crocheted flowers are beautiful and will last a lifetime. Plus you can spray it with your favorite scents so that every time you walk by the frame, you get a hint of lavender or citrus. Pattern here
I have been meaning to try this pattern for months. It’s so fun with the fringe on the sides and so easy to make! Plus you can go crazy with different colors or even try this with fur yarn like I plan to do. Either way, you can’t go wrong with this one. Pattern here
- The Fiesta Fringe bag has been one of my favorite patterns for the summer. It was inspired by an Anthropologie mini tote with all the fun fringes that my mother really liked. I’ve made the fiery red one for her and wrote up a pattern that includes this size for free Fiesta Fringe Clutch and a paid pattern option that includes how to add straps as well as a larger mini tote option here
- This Spring Market scarf is so perfect for the weather here in NY. It can be worn as a scarf or used as a wrap for when the chill pops in on what was supposed to be a nice sunny day. Pattern here
